Experience.

MHM is run by Mark Helm, a highly experienced operator who has been planning and buying radio advertising for over 35 years for a huge range of clients, from Retail to Travel, MHM has the knowledge to help build and buy you a successful radio campaign.

The early days

Mark Helm has been managing creative radio campaigns since 1985 as a young media executive at Park Advertising (part of FCB) planning and buying dealer support activity for Bedford Vans, from dealer "open days" to traditional "call to action" spot campaigns.
This 'apprenticeship' at Park, a full service agency gave him great grounding for his future in the Industry.

Agency life

After a few years at Park he moved to SRG where he developed his planning and buying knowledge. In 1991, he helped set up a new Media Independent RBM and won the Sport Newspapers radio account, the 7th largest radio spender in the UK Three years later the agency was bought by Carat and he moved over to work in Drury Lane.

Head of Radio

Mark left Carat after 18 months to run Dixons at Mediavest, After a few years in retail he was invited to set up and run the Radio Department managing a range of high profile accounts such as Associated Newspapers and Bupa. In five years he grew radio's share of spend by 300% and increased Mediavest's position and profile in the market dramatically.

More recently

After nearly nine years at Mediavest Mark decided to develop his creative understanding further and joined Sound as Director of Media. Building engaging content led radio campaigns for clients such as the RAF and Orange. In 2007 he finally went it alone and set up Mark Helm Media to specialise in planning and buying radio advertising campaigns.
